Our post-SAVI service is evaluated and included in the cost plans during development, the value of which is determined by the design factors such as scale, oreintation and location. This is a two year service where clients can access their building energy values to make ammendmants and also gain advice directly from us at our office. After the two years, the client can still access their building information through their account log-in but is released of all additional information services. The point of which is we assume they've learnt enough during that period to operate it by themselves. If they require any additional information after this time, extended service plans can be arranged at a cost.
Please refer to “Finances” for more information.

2. Product

 Product
Products and Services – As an architectural practice we provide a design service which incorporates sustainable design with post-production technology. To begin with we deliver our clients with contemporary design solution to their needs by using sustainable materials and techniques that help make your building more efficient. These focus on low u-value products and materials, reducing air-tightness, increasing solar gain and harvesting sustainable energy. During the planning of these principles the post-SAVI service is considered into the design instead of a post completion after thought. With it considered the systems can be efficiently and seamlessly integrated into particular areas of the building, with all information directly related to a central server within the home. This central point collects all of the energy data within the home and by using our scientifically proven algorithms, determines areas of improvement. This information can be accessed freely by our clients using a web-interface. We’ve specially developed this for a range of mobile products so our clients can make evaluations and changes to their systems on the move.

Relevance
Our service is based on the Government environmental services 2020 as well as other government objectives set during this period. In 2020 the recognition for greener building solutions is starting to greatly increase as the benefits for the environment are becoming widely acknowledged. Our practice will largely benefit from this social and architectural movement, giving us a bigger client base and helping place use at the forefront.
Significance
The significance of our product over our competitors is our ability to make it appear seamless and continuous within the building. Unlike most of our competitors, our product isn’t an afterthought post completion, but instead considered during the early design stages of building. The product isn’t something that becomes added afterwards but part of the building itself
We have the disadvantage over larger architectural practices who plan to provide a similar service, as they have more capital to spend on advancing technology. However, most larger practices tend to employ older, more experienced architects who often tend not to be computer literature, struggling to interact with the systems accordingly. Our team consists of 6 members who’ve grown with technology, expertly skilled in understanding how they function and how to make it simple for those who don’t. Our edge is that once a client has gained our service they don’t have to rely on systems to make it work. Our team will provide the information and advice require to make the system work to its full potential in any method we can.

1. Position Statement

Position Statement

·         It’s important that we try to avoid the classic “we cater for everyone’s needs” statement as clients witness this constantly and doesn’t fill them with confidence. If we do provide a diverse service we should justify this to the client. Our innovative technology should achieve this by separating us from the standard by providing the client with fresh and unique energy saving service. In addition it strongly meets national standards of energy reduction in 2020.

1.       Who you are – SAVI (Sustainable Architecture, Viable Intelligence) is a contemporary architectural practice who specialise in sustainable energy and design solutions. Using a combination of visionary strategies, experienced backgrounds and innovative technologies, SAVI focuses on a deep understanding of energy saving techniques, allowing us to provide developments that embrace the economic, environmental, technological and cultural challenges of sustainable design.
2.       What we do – At SAVI we offer architectural excellence formulated around energy assessment standards. Using our unique automated building monitoring system, we can track and evaluate your buildings energy consumption and offer you solutions to help reduce your financial expenditure. The system monitors calculated excessive heat loss in particular areas of your building to pinpoint discrepancies in thermal bridging. These areas of assessment are demonstrated and articulated in a clear and understandable format for our clients who can access the information through an account log-in which has been developed for a range of technical and mobile devices. Aside from energy assessments, our practice provides a construction service which encourages the implementation of sustainable design in association with the monitoring system and towards adapting to climate change. We aim to craft our design around the client’s needs Using a development program, the client can
3.       For whom – Our client base is non-specific as our building services are diversely available, ready to cater for any design solution - whether it’s a residential new build or a commercial retrofit.
We provide in residential, commercial, healthcare, government, education and travel.
4.       To what benefit -  As a response to the energy assessment standards of 2020, we exist to create a more sustainable culture, to mitigate the effects of climate change, to provide contemporary design solutions and ultimately to make significant financial reductions across of parties.
