PESTLE Analysis


PESTLE Analysis
It is very important that an organization considers its environment before beginning the marketing process. Environmental analysis should be continuous and feed all aspects of planning, identify the strengths and weaknesses, the opportunities and threats (See SWOT analysis).
Political (What are the political drivers of relevance?)
·         Regulations for construction companies are likely to change within this time period. We have to meet current design laws and legislations, including; Building Regulations 2018, Depart of Design and Energy Standards 2020 (Our USP directly relates to this), RIBA and CIAT guidelines.
·         Changes in employment law may influence our employment ethos.
·         Our projects over the world will fall under different legal practices, cultures and languages. Our practice will have such a major environmental influence it will be applicable to any country with sustainable standards. Ensuring are employees are culturally and linguistically diverse
Economical (What are the important economic factors?)
·         Demand for building works has decreased in recent years but the recognition of sustainable buildings has increased. (Economic slowdown)
·         The market may be very competitive as many practices will focus their attention towards forming sustainable architecture and energy solutions. What makes our practice differ will be continuous service we offer to clients where we’ll constantly supply them with new information and solutions towards saving money. They are access this information at their own doing, through an online service, or directly with the company.
·         Need to have a competitive bid, meaning costs should be cut to make savings, for both the company and client.
Social (What are the main societal and cultural factors?)
·         Our clients must be committed to reducing carbon-footprint and minimising impact on the environment.
·         Social awareness of the sustainable design and energy consumption won’t be problematic as this is becoming a major governmental topic at this stage.
·         People may have uncertainty about the privacy issues of the product. They may doubt the systems are in place just to records energy usage.
Technical (What are the current technological imperatives, changes and innovations?)
·         SAVI uses the state of the art monitoring technology which evaluates your buildings energy consumption and distribution. During this time period it’s like other technical devices of this nature will exist, however our will be bespoke to our company, with patented technology which surpasses our competitors.
·         Works with architects to ensure buildings deliver planned reductions in emissions.
·         Advances in project management with larger companies, who are using faster, more organised and sophisticated software and databases systems.

Environmental (What are the environmental considerations, locally and further afield)
·         All the environmental factors are beneficial towards the local and greater environments.
